(Video above: Thursday headlines) Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the twins as 20-month-old Bryson and Brayden McDaniel during a Thursday afternoon news conference. (Watch the entire news conference at the end of this story) She said she believes they were put in the vehicle between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Rutherford said a family member found the boys in the family car in the parking lot of the day care about 5:30 p.m. Rutherford said the vehicle was not in the parking lot the entire day but arrived in the parking lot at about 5:30 p.m. She said they had been in the car for nine and a half hours. Rutherford said there were no physical signs of trauma found during the autopsy and they may have died of hyperthermia, which means the body temperature is greatly above normal. Rutherford said the cause of death is "pending further study" at this time. She said the children seemed to be cared for by their family. "We have two very distraught parents," Rutherford said. She said the Richland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death. She said she does not believe the day care staff was involved in the deaths.
